December 19 Christmas is Coming to Town

Hi family!

Life is SO good. It has been such a crazy week full of so many good things. Can you believe Christmas is just a few days away? That is just craziness.
So this week I was in a trio with Sister Unutoa and Sister Timothy for the first few days till transfers on Wednesday and we had such a blast! Last preparation day we found this cute General mercantile store downtown and had delicious hot chocolate! We also got BUCKETS AND BUCKETS of snow. It was so fun! It snowed for like 2 days strait, so we spent quite a bit of time brushing snow off our car and trudging through fresh powder. It was pretty much a blast. We saw lots of miracles between the two areas and balanced everything pretty well with the help of the Savior.
On Wednesday we had transfers, so Sister Miller came to town! It was so freezing that day and there was a bit of a mix up with cars, so we ended up driving some of the sisters to their area in Missoula (which is about 2 hrs away..) so we had the Missoula sister training leaders with us and it ended up being a huge tender mercy because I got to go to a Cafe Rio, but more importantly, I got to surprise SISTER NEZ! Since I wasn't planning on being in Missoula that day, she had NO IDEA I was going to be there, so the other sisters called her and told her to meet them for lunch at Cafe Rio. And it was the best surprise ever (we both cried haha) but after not seeing her for 9 months, it was a very joyous reunion.
We finally made it back to proselyte in our area later that night, only to find out the new missionaries who usually come in on Thursday were going to be coming in that night due to a snow storm that was going to hit the next day. So we headed back to the church and got the new sisters all settled in. It was so fun meeting them and one of them will be in our district this transfer, so that will be so fun!

As for Sister Miller and I, things have been going great. The area is just on fire. A, our 10 yr old investigator, got baptized this Saturday and it was so special! Bishop asked me to bear my testimony and the end of the baptismal service and it was so sweet to just see how happy A was. The only scary part was when she didn't want to get in the water... but it all worked out and the baptism ended up going very smoothly!

We came home on Saturday night to the Millers decorating Christmas cookies! They saved some for us to decorate and we had such a fun time. I love living with members, especially during the holiday season. And the Millers are absolutely incredible! We had two snow days this week which was the struggle, they asked us to stay inside if we didn't have set appointments, but luckily by the second day we had lots of appointments! It was pretty freezing this week, but we made the most of it. It's so crazy how the frost REALLY BITES your skin. We would walk from our car to the door and my fingers would already be frozen #goodtimes.
I feel so blessed to be able to testify of my Savior each day and share His light with the world. I love being a missionary, it is the best. I hope you all have the best week ever and I love you so much!

Love, Sister Wong
